蒸汽進入多效蒸餾水機第一效，在對蒸餾水機加熱的同時，其污染滲漏也可能存在。因此，對多效蒸餾水機第一效的設計制造應采取雙管板技術結構，以保證蒸餾水機在制作蒸餾水時不被污染。而雙管板是指脹管板和焊管板雙重結構，在脹管板和焊管板之間，有10mm左右的間隙，如果加熱蒸汽有泄露，則從脹管板一端滲出蒸汽，如果進料水一端有泄露，則從焊管板一端滲出水液。這樣即可以有效防止滲漏污染，也可及時發現泄漏故障。
